Great writers feel their words. They become an extension of themselves. There will be moments when you find yourselves at the mercy of those words. They will take over and transform your story into something much bigger than you.
These moments are why we spend so much time on structures and grammar and rules and formats. Out of these, comes the moments. Please take a moment to read this, and keep a tissue near:

Garageband Instructions
This is mainly aimed at the EMB 265 Broadcast News Writing class; however, it’s not a bad idea to give everyone a shot at this.I’ve posted the instructions for setting up, recording, editing and exporting/importing files in Garageband on the Google Doc for the class.
I’ll be adding a few instructions for Soundtrack, which is a more advanced editing program. There will be times when you’re sound won’t exactly match up; there is a simple way to raise the levels of your piece. There will be a time when you’ll need to convert a certain type of audio file so it works in Garageband; Soundtrack does that quite well (if you don’t happen to have a converter - if you have a PC, there are free programs that do this).
So why did I add JOU 220 and MIN 252. Well, the journos — once you start lab, if you would like to learn how to create a podcast, we can do that with one of your stories; for the MIN 252 Non-linear and interactive storytelling, you can record short audio clips that can be included in your game (I believe).
