8. How would you find that?
Word Test:
Please turn this in as a hard copy with your complete name, your class code (EMB 265, for instance). Passing is 7 out of 8.
Please type your full name, the date and your class in the top left. Please label each task you do as “Task 1″, “Task 2″, ect.
For EMB students, please set up a 2-column format under this information. Please put the number of the question in the left column, the answer to the question in the right column. The number-answer combination should start on the same line.
Task 1: Please set your font to something other than Times New Roman and the size to something other than 12. Please type “This is the answer” in that font and size.
Task 2: Please set your type font back to TNR and 12. Please set your Line Spacing to double spaced and type two lines of anything you would like, as long as it’s neither profane nor offensive.
Task 3: Please set your Line Space back to single. Please turn on your Track Changes. Please type, “this is where my track changes begin”.
For the next two tasks, please refer to the Google Doc. We did not cover this in class; however, it is on the instruction sheet. Let’s see how well we can assimilate information.
Task 4: Please insert a comment in your third task. The comment should say, “This is my comment.”
Task 5: Please you the dictionary function to look up the word “Comment” using the dictionary function of Word. Please write the definition that best describes how the comment function is used in Word document based upon definitions.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled testing.
Task 6-8: At this point, please make 3 print outs of your work: 1) the original document (with everything BEFORE you turned on Track Change); 2) the original document that has all of your Track Changes and additions; and 3) the final copy that does NOT include any Track Changes.

Just a check
7. How many times to I use the word Appalachia in the blog?
Do you mean this particular blog post, or do you mean the entire website?
Good question:
A blog is made up of all the blog posts; a website is made up of all the posts, graphics, headers, footers, ect.
So I’m looking for that just in the blog posts.
