min352: pbwiki + things
Please see the breakdown for what we will be doing in class. As I mentioned the first week, I will not go over everything in class as it’s written down.
- Here is a link to the PBWiki, which we’ll go into on Thursday.
- Those of you who were unprepared for discussion today should go through the discussion points and prepare for a second try on Thursday.
- Per Ashley’s question: the discussion on Thursday is informal and not graded. I want to discuss, when we are done, the types of social technologies you use. For some, that may be “none,” which is perfectly fine.
As part of my lecture on Thursday, we’re going to look at examples of what your final projects might be (it’s really up to you), what you have available here on campus and what a “digital media project” entails.
We will not have class Tues, Sept. 9 — so we will go over all the social media tools on Thursday, Sept. 11. You will have a week to play around with the tutorials — and on Thursday we’ll actually record and edit some audio.
I recommend you look at the pre-plan for your project now so we can begin to tie in what we are doing (what does a project look like, what can you do, what tools can you use). I will have the final project grading rubric done so we can look at it and discuss.
Questions? Post here.
