Hello Students:

Here is the overview for this week’s lecture. Don’t forget there will be a quiz over the reading. You will not pass the quiz simply by looking at the Power Point. If only it were so easy.

Hello Students:

Here is the power point presentation for Tuesday’s lecture + discussion. Remember, use this as a frame for the reading.

And here is the information we’ll be discussing about your first paper.

Hello Students:

I will, on occasion, get all old man-y on you. This is one of those times. You should make the most of your college experience by pursuing your interests and passions. There will come a time, very soon, where you won’t have the time and energy to do that. To that end:

THE CCIM Superparty

Superparty, a showcase and celebration of CCIM’s student organizations, takes place this Tuesday, September 1 from 6-8. Registration begins on the second floor of AJ and continues through BC, ending in the Letterman lobby for pizza and soda. WCRD broadcasts live from LB.

Hello Students:

Please don’t worry about taking this survey before class tomorrow. We will spend the first few minutes of class working on this.

However, here the ICOMM 375 Technology Survey (and Jamboree).

Hey IComm’ers:

I’ll be posting the technology survey either tonight or tomorrow. You can certainly take it before class if you would like; however, I will make time for that on Thursday as well.

Be honest. Not for me. For you. I am using these to determine groups and to lay out guidelines for each group project.

Hello students:

Some of you may be wondering about your class and my teaching style. The syllabus is now up (please see the BSU tab across the top). However.

I will post this on the class website (see previous announcement) for those who would like to understand how the class works, this David Foster Wallace essay gives a very good overview of how evaluation works.
We will discuss this in class.

There’s more to come as we wade into the school year, but just in case you were wondering.
