It’s usually around week 5 that my methodologies start to make a bit more sense. There’s a reason for that: my methods can’t come clear until you start making stuff.
Ms. Boswell, from my ICOM 210: Introduction to Social Media class, picked up on this in a very specific way tonight:
Today it’s called Constructivism, but way back in the early 1990s when I was getting my teaching degree we referred to this as “Student as Text.” I’m sure there was an actual name to it, but that was the informal name we used around the halls of Miami University.
