Ball State University’s Digital Media Minor is an interdisciplinary program focused on emerging technologies and storytelling
The digital media minor prepares you to learn how to bring the power of new media to your area of study—expertise that can help you excel in your career. By combining writing, video, and sound, you will create new forms of storytelling that will ultimately apply to a vast audience of consumers, colleagues, and clients.
The essence of this degree is to give students a literacy about the digital world, the skills to create stories within that world, and the ability to apply that knowledge to their other academic and professional interests.

Starting in the Fall 2012 school year, we’re moving all of the Digital Media Minor classes online as well. There will still be classes taught in physical locations, but each class will also be taught online, which means you’ll have the opportunity to get your minor in digital media while using digital media.
Novel, we know.
